HO LIN HUAY (Founder/Director/Producer/Scriptwriter)
Lin Huay graduated from the University of Miami in the United States with a degree in motion picture and theatre production. In 1999 she wrote and directed Siddhartha the Musical, the biggest Malaysian-produced musical then, which successfully toured Singapore and South Africa. She is the founder of Musical On Stage Productions which goal is to produce top notch Malaysian musicals. The company produced it second musical, Above Full Moon in 2004, followed by The Perfect Circle in 2006 and Jewel of Tibet the musical in 2008. She currently works in the television industry as producer, writer and director. She is also an award-winning video music director, as well as a singer and composer with 2 albums to her credit. Lin Huay is also the creative director of the 50th Malaysia Merdeka Chinese Celebration Cultural Show at Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
IMEE OOI (Composer/Music Arranger/Music Director)
Imee Ooi is an established Malaysian music producer, composer, arranger and vocalist. She formed IMM Musicworks in 1997and has by now released more than 20 albums. She is also the musical director and composer of three highly acclaimed stage musicals, Siddhartha, Above Full Moon and Jewel of Tibet. Imee has written numerous musical scores for Malaysian TVs and film productions. She now concentrates on producing Buddhist music, a direction which has been regarded by many as a great milestone in the history of Buddhist music. One of her albums, the highly acclaimed The Chant of Metta, is often played at major Buddhist events all over the world. Imee’s compositions have already become an important part of the Buddhist musical culture, reaching and touching many people heart and soul across the world, spreading the message and teachings of peace and happiness through music.
PAM LIM (Production Designer)
Pam is passionate in art and music since young age, later, she chose to study art and design by completing her diploma in Interior Design at Malaysian Institute of Art in 1993 and further obtained her degree at Columbia College of Chicago. She has years of experience in respective field and leading award-winning projects both in the United States and Malaysia. Since her return to Malaysia in 2001, she had formed Niche Design Interior Design consultancy firm and greatly involved in various design work. Jewel of Tibet is Pam’s first theatre production design project.

Soo Leng is an experienced dancer, choreographer, dance instructor, dance event organizer. She has represented Malaysia in overseas performances, and played the title role of Hang Li Poh in the major dance production of Hang Li Poh. Soo Leng is one of the choreographers for Siddhartha the musical and Jewel of Tibet the musical. Her choreography works have won numerous awards in National Dance Competition. She is one of the founders for Xing Dance & Arts

Michele’s dancing skill ranges from classical ballet, Chinese traditional dance to contemporary and jazz. She has choreographed various major dance events such as the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 1998 Commonwealth Games, the Asian Dance Festival, My Dance series, and many more. her major works include choreography for Siddhartha the musical, Above Full Moon the musical, The Perfect Circle and Jewel of Tibet the musical. Michelle is owner of Dynasty House, a company specializing in designing and making dance and period costumes. |
MICHELLE YONG
CAREN YEE (Costume Designer)
Caren has created a new line in the Malay market called Mystic with a creation of unique design for each personality. She used to work in a TV station. Her notable works include Tun Fatimah, Miss Malaysia Chinese International Pageant, Astro Kids Talent Ques, Siddhartha the musical, Above Full Moon the musical, The Perfect Circle and Jewel of Tibet the musical. Caren graduated from the International Fashion Training Centre.
DAVID WONG (Production Designer)
Production designer and props master David has many years of experience in set design and construction. His works include The Sound of Music, Island in Between, Coffin Too Big for the Hole, Death of the Salesman, Siddhartha the musical and Above Full Moon the Musical. David is a graduate from the Malaysia Institute of Arts, majoring in Fine Arts.
KENZO (Cheif Stylist)
Kenzo is a well known artistic imager designer. He was the image consultant at Couple’s World Bridal Gallery, Regent Bridal and Nuptial Knots. He is also an established stylist for theatrical productions such as Hang Li Poh, Ma Zhu, Yap Ah Loy, Sam & Jet, Siddhartha the musical, Above Full Moon the musical, The Perfect Circle and Jewel of Tibet the musical. Kenzo has also worked with various magazines. He worked with many celebrities and he introduced the 3D airbrush make-up technique to Malaysia. Kenzo is currently the image consulting lecturer at several schools.
YANG WEI HAN (Video Graphic Design)
Wei Han graduated from the University of Technology Malaysia with a degree in Landscape Architecture. In 2001, he founded his own music studio – Yang Music & Design to further develop his music career. Wei Han was the designer for a few album covers. He fully involved in producing, directing and editing his own music video. As a computerized visual image designer, he has designed for Chinese Song Legend – Yao Ming concert, Siddhartha the musical in Jakarta, The Perfect Circle and Jewel of Tibet.
